How David Beckham Is Keeping Fit And Getting In Shape, See the Kinds Of Foods He Eats That Can Help You Get A Flat Tummy
While we know eating healthy is important, but so is eating what satisfies you whether or not luxurious. We also know that reducing the intake or cutting low on calories and high fat foods can go a long way, but what if you’ve been doing that and I know you have, you’ve also tried cardio: you go for running or joking every morning, brisk walking, swimming, we can name a few things people have recommended to you and you’ve been trying. But what could possibly be going wrong, after all maybe 1 out of a 100 people with attractive and beach-bodies is you, who knows.
Getting in great shape requires total determination and perseverance, ever heard of a saying that goes: successful people don’t quit and people who quit will never be successful. The road is rough and full of bumps; I know I’m not smart but at least that’s a promise I can make.
I can go on and on to tell you of a story I know of someone who since high School has been trying to get people’s attention but to no avail. This person tries getting good grades but that attempt turns out to be what other kids don’t like, a smart but poor kid trying to come out and in the end you are just alone so you eat and eat because it’s the only friend that understands you. But boom, you gain and instead of stopping you gain more and more because your best friend ‘food’ is always there for you.
Today you are chubby and the various failures from your attempts to get back in shape now make you feel like there’s no hope. Trust me, I’ve been there. Been where? Does this guy know what his even talking about, has he seen me before, look at my belly, does he even have the slightest idea of how much I weigh, this guy must be joker if he thinks there’s anything he will tell me that will change my situation?
Hold on, did you just ask if I’m a joker? Oh no, I’m not it’s just that light travels faster than sound that’s why some people appear bright until they speak. And yes I haven’t seen you before and all those things you have mentioned above but one thing we have in common is we both want you to have a six pack, flat tummy and look more attractive so that people can finally notice you even just a little to gossip about how you went from fat Albert to looking like Christiano Ronaldo, not literally, just his flat tummy.

The foods that really go a long way in reducing fat and bloating include oats, flax seeds, avocados, legumes, Brussels sprouts and blackberries. One day in the hopes of trying to stand out and look more attractive I found myself reading a news article showing that these foods contain soluble fiber, which makes you less likely to accumulate fat around your organs and reduces the waist circumference and the risk of several diseases.
Eating more of soluble fiber food decreases the number of calories your body absorbs. It’s like pouring diesel in a tank but only a few volumes of it will be used because of a certain substance you installed in your tank. That’s what soluble fiber foods do, you might eat more calorie-rich foods but only a fraction of these calories will be absorbed in your body because of the soluble foods that you consume. I’m I actually saying continue eating chocolate as long as you hammer two avocados every morning? No, when you have the chance to stay away from chocolate, do it, for all I know the price of one chocolate pack can get you 3 good and fresh avocados. Anyway enough of the boring avocados, who even wants to eat them unless if you want to look like Carly Loyd or Paulo Dybala.
One observational study showed that each 10-gram increase in daily soluble fiber intake decreased fat gain around the midsection by 3.7% over five years, oh my God, 5 years of what use will it be because by then I’d be focused on God not trying to get attention. Anyway Jesus seemed to be fit even after 30 years, I mean how else did he manage to carry that heavy cross for over 2 miles even after being beaten and scourged, what a strong man huh.
Apart from that soluble fiber foods also absorb large quantities of water and slow down the passing of food through the digestive tract. Some people have recommended to me to drink a lot of water every day, an average human being should drink about 2 liters a day, but what about me who’s not average? Anyway water really does help in getting one a flat tummy.
Eating Oats Will Get You A Flat Tummy

Oats are a whole-grain food, sometimes called oat and scientifically as Avena sativa. Just like we know of beans contains elements of iron and some proteins, oats on the other hand are full grains.
I recommend choosing between these two types of oats: either oat groat or instant oats.
Oat groats are the most intact and whole form of oats which take a longer time to prepare, though not longer than beans, what could possibly even take longer than beans to be ready if not a flat belly. This why most people prefer rolled, crushed or steel-cut oats, still eyeing for that fast food because you are ever late for work.
The second type of oat I recommend is Instant oats which are the most highly processed variety, found in almost every supermarket. Because they take the shortest time to cook, the texture may be mushy.
How To Prepare Oats
Oats can be eaten for breakfast as oatmeal:
1. Put water or milk in a pot
2. Pour at least ¼ of oats into the pot containing water and boil for 20 minutes
Oatmeal is often referred to as porridge.
For bakers, you can also include oats in muffins, granola bars, cookies and other baked goods.
Consuming Flax seed to Get A Flat Tummy

Among the many benefits of flaxseed is the over loading of nutrients in it. Look at the nutrients below contained in flaxseed and tell me if you have seen them in another seed as much as they are in flaxseed.
1. Calories: 37
2. Protein: 1.3 grams
3. Carbs: 2 grams
4. Fiber: 1.9 grams
5. Total fat: 3 grams
6. Saturated fat: 0.3 grams
7. Monounsaturated fat: 0.5 grams
8. Polyunsaturated fat: 2.0 grams
9. Omega-3 fatty acids: 1,597 mg
10. Vitamin B1: 8% of the RDI
11. Vitamin B6: 2% of the RDI
12. Folate: 2% of the RDI
13. Calcium: 2% of the RDI
14. Iron: 2% of the RDI
15. Magnesium: 7% of the RDI
16. Phosphorus: 4% of the RDI
17. Potassium: 2% of the RDI
Have you seen that? Awesome right? Quite shocking.
If you don’t eat meat or fish, flaxseeds can really help you obtain the much needed omega-3 fats.
Flaxseed is also a rich source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a mostly plant-based omega-3 fatty acid.
Alpha-linolenic acid abbreviated as ALA is one of the two essential fatty acids that one can only get from the food we eat because our body can’t manufacture it.
Research on Animal studies have shown that the ALA in flax seeds prevented cholesterol from being deposited in the blood vessels of the heart, reduced inflammation in the arteries and reduced tumor growth.
More studies have shown that ALA reduces heart diseases, stroke and heart attacks.
Furthermore, a recent review of observational data concluded that ALA had heart health benefits comparable to eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), two of the more well-known omega-3 fats
Consuming Legumes To Get A Flat Tummy

What are legumes?
The legume family consists of plants that produce a pod with seeds inside. The term “legume” is used to describe the seeds of these plants.
Common edible legumes include lentils, peas, chickpeas, beans, soybeans, and peanuts.
The different types vary greatly in nutrition, appearance, taste, and use
Legumes Are Rich In Both Protein And Fiber
Legumes have a remarkable nutritional profile and are a rich source of healthy fibers and protein.
For example, 1 cup (198 grams) of cooked lentils provides the following;
1. Calories: 230
2. Protein: 18 grams
3. Fiber: 16 grams
4. Carbs: 40 grams
5. Iron: 37% of the Daily Value (DV)
6. Folate: 90% of the DV
7. Magnesium: 17% of the DV
8. Potassium: 16% of the DV
What’s more, the same amount offers over 10% of the DV for vitamins B1, B3, B5, and B6, as well as phosphorus, zinc, copper, and manganese.
Legumes are among the best plant-based sources of protein. They’re not only highly nutritious but also cheap, which makes them a staple in many developing countries.
Legumes Are Rich In Healthy Fibers
Legumes are particularly rich in healthy fibers, such as resistant starch and soluble fibers
Both types pass undigested through your stomach and small intestine until they reach your colon, where they feed your friendly gut bacteria.
Unpleasant side effects of these fibers include gas and bloating, but they also help form short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), such as butyrate, which may improve colon health and reduce your risk of colon cancer.
What’s more, both resistant starch and soluble fibers help you feel full.
Additionally, they’re very effective at moderating blood sugar levels after meals and may improve insulin sensitivity.
